What are magnetic golf towels and how do they attach?
Magnetic golf towels use an N52 neodymium magnet embedded in the towel body to snap directly onto any steel rail on a buggy, trolley, or cart bag. The magnet delivers up to 48kg of pull force, holding the towel securely across 18 holes without clips, carabiners, or threading. One movement to attach, one to release.
What GSM should a golf towel be?
A tour-grade golf towel should be 400GSM or above. Most standard golf towels are 200GSM thin cotton, which absorbs less moisture and dries slowly in UK conditions. PINSEEKER towels are 400GSM microfibre waffle (Magnetic and Tour) or 550GSM premium cotton (Caddy), delivering maximum absorption and rapid-dry performance across a full round.
What is the difference between the Tour towel and the Caddy towel?
The Tour Golf Towel is 400GSM microfibre waffle, 40x100cm, with a centre-slit and hanging loop. Available individually, it suits stand bags, carry bags, and D-ring setups. The Caddy Golf Towel is 550GSM premium cotton, 55x105cm, and uses the traditional Tour caddy method: it drapes through or over your longer irons via a reinforced centre-slit, no hardware needed. The Caddy Golf Towel is available as part of the limited edition Founders Squadron range, alongside the Performance Cap. Both carry the exclusive 3D Founders Squadron insignia and won't be reprinted.
Do PINSEEKER magnetic towels work on all buggies and trolleys?
Yes. The N52 neodymium magnet attaches to any ferrous steel rail or surface, including electric trolleys, push trolleys, cart bags, and buggy frames. It will not attach to aluminium or carbon fibre frames. If you are unsure whether your trolley is compatible, hold any household magnet to the frame: if it sticks, the PINSEEKER magnetic towel will too.
What does the 12-month performance guarantee cover?
The PINSEEKER 12-month performance guarantee covers manufacturing defects in materials and construction across all products. If your towel or cap fails to perform to specification within 12 months of purchase, contact us directly and we will replace it. The guarantee applies to every product in the range.
