VENTING
Heat leaves through the panels, not a mesh back
Laser-perforated venting cuts hundreds of small holes into the side and rear panels, so warm air moves out of the crown while the shell stays one continuous piece of fabric. A mesh back does the same job with a gap: it vents, and it also lets rain and cold straight in. Perforation keeps the airflow on a hot afternoon without giving the weather a way through. A water-repellent DWR coating beads water on the surface and runs it clear of the brim, handling drizzle and passing showers while staying light and breathable. A laminated membrane holds out sustained rain but is heavier, stiffer and vents far less. COLOURWAYS AND CARE
Blackout or Whiteout, then keep it that way
Both colourways share the same shell, venting, brim and snapback: the only difference is colour. Blackout, in black, hides a season of use. Whiteout, in white, shows the crosshair crest sharper. Either way, hand wash in cool water, skip the washing machine and the tumble dryer, and air dry over a bowl so the crown keeps its shape. Do not iron the brim.

A water-repellent golf cap uses a DWR coating: water beads and runs clear of the brim, and the cap stays light and vents properly. A waterproof cap uses a laminated membrane with taped seams, holds out sustained rain, and pays for it in weight, stiffness and heat. Both move heat out of the crown, but only one keeps the weather out. Mesh is an open gap in the cap: it vents, and it lets rain, wind and cold straight through to the back of your head. Laser perforation cuts hundreds of small holes into a continuous shell, so warm air escapes while the panel still sheds water and holds its structure. How do I wash a golf cap?
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Air dry over a rounded surface such as a bowl so the crown keeps its shape, and never iron the brim, because a warped brim does not recover. Cared for this way the structured front and the water-repellent finish hold up through repeated washes, and the cap keeps looking right well into a second season.
What does the 12-month guarantee cover?
Every PINSEEKER cap is covered for 12 months from the date of purchase. If the fabric delaminates, the brim warps or the snapback fails under normal use, we replace it.
