PERFORMANCE GOLF CAPS

A structured five-panel cap built for the full season: sun, wind and showers. Hydro-repellent shell, laser-perforated venting, adjustable snapback.

Water-resistant, and that is the right call

THE SHELL

Water-resistant, and that is the right call

A DWR coating beads water on the surface and runs it clear of the brim, handling drizzle and passing showers while staying light and breathable. A laminated membrane holds out sustained rain but is heavier, stiffer and vents far less. For a cap worn every round in every condition, the coating is the version you actually want on your head.

Structure is what fails first

THE STRUCTURE

Structure is what fails first

A five-panel front with a reinforced pre-curved brim holds its shape through a season. Unstructured caps collapse after a few wears and never recover, and a brim without reinforcement takes a permanent warp the first time it is squashed under a golf bag.

GOLF CAP BUYING GUIDE

What separates one golf cap from another

A golf cap has to survive weather, sweat and a season crushed in a golf bag while still looking right walking into the clubhouse. Three things decide whether it manages that.

Coating or membrane

A water-resistant cap uses a DWR coating: water beads and runs clear of the brim, and the cap stays light and vents properly. A waterproof cap uses a laminated membrane with taped seams, holds out sustained rain, and pays for it in weight, stiffness and heat. Most golf is played in the first category, which is why the coating is the sensible default for an everyday cap.

Structure and brim

A structured five-panel front with a reinforced pre-curved brim keeps its shape across a season. This is the single biggest difference between a cap that still looks right in September and one that does not.

Venting and fit

Laser-perforated venting moves heat without the gaps a mesh back leaves. An adjustable snapback fits a wide range of head sizes and holds its setting as the band wears.

GOLF CAP FAQS

What is the PINSEEKER Performance Golf Cap made from?

The Performance Golf Cap is made from a moisture-wicking polyester blend with a structured five-panel front and an unstructured crown. The fabric pulls sweat away from the brow and dries quickly, built for the kind of mixed-condition rounds common on UK courses.

What colourways does the Performance Golf Cap come in?

The cap is available in two colourways. Both use the same specification, same fabric, same structured panel, same adjustable back strap. The only difference is colour.

Is the Performance Golf Cap one-size-fits-all?

Yes. The cap features a fully adjustable back strap that fits all adult head sizes. The structured front panel holds its form regardless of how the strap is set, no sagging or distortion after adjustment.

How does a moisture-wicking golf cap compare to a standard cotton cap?

Cotton absorbs sweat but holds it against your skin, becoming heavy and uncomfortable in warm conditions. Moisture-wicking polyester pulls sweat away from the brow and releases it as vapour, keeping you cooler and more comfortable across 18 holes. For UK golf, where conditions change mid-round, the performance difference is noticeable from around hole 9 onwards.

Does the PINSEEKER cap perform in wet or cold weather?

The moisture-wicking construction handles sweat and light rain well. In sustained heavy rain, a waterproof cap provides better protection, but the Performance Cap is designed for the typical UK round where conditions are mixed and change throughout. It's the cap that handles the majority of playing days without issue.

How do I wash a PINSEEKER golf cap?

Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cold cycle (30°C). Do not tumble dry, air dry on a rounded surface such as a bowl to maintain the panel shape. Do not iron the brim. The structured panel holds its form through repeated washing when cared for correctly.

What does the 12-month guarantee cover?

Every PINSEEKER cap is backed for 12 months from the date of purchase. If the fabric delaminates, the brim warps, or the strap fails under normal use, we replace it. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and material failure, not general wear. No small print, no registration required.
