How does cotton compare to microfibre waffle towels?
They do different jobs. Microfibre fibres run 1 to 4 microns across, fine enough to enter the 0.35mm groove channel on an iron and pull debris out, which makes it the better groove cleaner. Cotton fibres run 15 to 20 microns and bridge across grooves instead. What cotton does better is hold water: at 550GSM it carries more per wipe and keeps carrying it across forty or fifty clubfaces, and its weight is what lets it drape through the irons without a clip.
What are the exact dimensions for bag clearance?
The towel measures 55cm × 105cm. When draped in half, it hangs approximately 52cm, sitting perfectly above the ground on most stand and cart bags.
Will the embroidery fray after washing?
No. We use high-tensile industrial thread for our signature insignia. It is designed to withstand high-rotation laundry cycles and rough course conditions.
What is the best way to wash this towel?
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Avoid heavy bleach to maintain the deep pigment of the branding. Air dry is recommended to maintain the plush "loft" of the cotton fibres.
Is this towel too big for a small carry/pencil bag?
