PINSEEKER Caddy Golf Towel - Founders Squadron
In stock, ships from the UK
A large 550GSM premium cotton towel at 55cm x 105cm, the biggest in the range. Thread it through your irons using the reinforced centre-slit, or drape it over the clubs. The weight of the clubs holds it. No clip, no loop.
- The most water of anything we make. 550GSM cotton holds more per wipe than microfibre and keeps holding it across forty or fifty clubfaces.
- Covers the clubs, not just cleans them. The extra width drapes over the tops of the irons when the weather turns.
- No hardware to fail. The traditional caddy (or caddie) method: clubs anchor it, nothing to clip, unclip or lose.
- Softens with age. Cotton breaks in, growing more absorbent with every wash.
Best for full-bag coverage. Want fast groove-scrubbing in a compact format? The 400GSM microfibre towels do that.

550GSM COTTON
Old school. For a reason.
Heavyweight cotton holds more water and takes more abuse than any microfibre.
Care

Wash at 30°C with no fabric softener, then air dry flat to keep the loft in the cotton.

Frequently asked questions.
Does this towel come with a carabiner or clip?
No, the Caddy Golf Towel attaches via its reinforced centre-slit. Feed the slit over your longer irons or woods, or drape it through them. The weight of the clubs anchors it in place. No carabiner or clip is needed or included.
How does cotton compare to microfibre waffle towels?
They do different jobs. Microfibre fibres run 1 to 4 microns across, fine enough to enter the 0.35mm groove channel on an iron and pull debris out, which makes it the better groove cleaner. Cotton fibres run 15 to 20 microns and bridge across grooves instead. What cotton does better is hold water: at 550GSM it carries more per wipe and keeps carrying it across forty or fifty clubfaces, and its weight is what lets it drape through the irons without a clip.
If you want the method rather than the theory, the step by step way to wash a set of irons at home runs to fifteen minutes.
What are the exact dimensions for bag clearance?
The towel measures 55cm × 105cm. When draped in half, it hangs approximately 52cm, sitting perfectly above the ground on most stand and cart bags.
Will the embroidery fray after washing?
The insignia is embroidered into the 550GSM cotton, not printed onto it. Wash the towel at 30°C and air dry it flat, which preserves the loft of the cotton and lets it break in and grow more absorbent. If the embroidery fails under normal use, the 12-month guarantee covers it.
What is the best way to wash this towel?
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Avoid heavy bleach to maintain the deep pigment of the branding. Air dry is recommended to maintain the plush "loft" of the cotton fibres.
The microfibre towels in the range want a different cycle, and the wash cycle each towel material needs sets both out side by side.
Is this towel too big for a small carry/pencil bag?
It is a large-format towel. While it provides maximum cleaning surface, golfers using ultra-lightweight pencil bags may find the Tour Golf Towel (40cm × 100cm microfibre) a more compact fit.
How do you use a caddy golf towel?
Feed the towel through your longer irons using the reinforced centre-slit, or drape it over the tops of the clubs. The weight of the clubs holds it in place, which is why the format needs no clip, carabiner or loop. Keep the top section dry for grips and hands and work the bottom section for clubfaces, and you have a full-length wet zone and dry zone that lasts the round.
What size is a caddy golf towel?
55 x 105cm. The extra width is the point of the format: it is what lets the towel drape over the tops of the clubs rather than hanging beside them, so it covers the irons as well as cleaning them. At 550GSM cotton that is the largest usable cleaning surface in the range, which is why it suits golfers who want one towel to handle the whole bag.
When will my order arrive?
UK orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. Standard delivery arrives in 3 to 5 business days, Express in 2 to 3. Free tracked shipping on all orders over £40. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order leaves UK HQ.
What colours does the Caddy Golf Towel come in?
Two: Blackout, which is black, and Whiteout, which is white. Both are 550GSM cotton at 55cm × 105cm with the same reinforced centre-slit and the same embroidered insignia. The black towel hides a season of groove cleaning. The white one shows the insignia sharper against the cotton.
